School's Out

This week (at least in this area), the schools are breaking up for the Summer holiday. We look at some schools the other side of the Atlantic...

Pupils held a special End of Year Demonstration at the Jean Knee School of Driving in Texas, amazing parents and friends with their newly honed skills:

Meanwhile, in the MidWest, the newly founded Cowboy Dan Riding School will be ready for opening next year (places are already oversubscribed), and we can reveal the $100,000 specially comissioned sculpture that has been delivered to the front of the school:

Things are not looking so good for the Tyson School of Financial Management, which has had to close due to lack of funds (they were only able to raise $30 million this year):

Thankyou to everyone for the wonderful suggestions.

I think that horse is too big for Dan.

I didn't want to make Dan's ego feel too self-important by including him twice, and anyway, the walk thing has been done to death:

Silly Walks

That's actually a picture of John Wayne's first horse, when he was just starting out in low-budget Westerns...

No horse rides for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Dan, you could try riding Donkeys-they aren't as large as horses but mor fun than ponies. Plus they'll kick the spit out of any animal that tries to mess with you.

whenever we ride those mini race car things I'm always the slowest and closest to wiping out.

have you ever been to a tracter pull?

Dan:

You wouldn't catch me trying to ride a horse, pony, donkey, etc. There's a reason they invented cars.

Jean Knee:

I don't even know what a tractor pull is...

Nice work. I gotta ask, did you google "Tyson School of Financial Management" and get a building of that name by some crazy stroke of luck or did you photoshop the text on there? If you photoshopped it, excellent work on making the print faded and go so well with the state of the building.

Sully:

It was done with Gimp (the Linux "photoshop"). The sign originally said "Kennedy Fried Chicken"...

Kennedy ? do you mean Kentucky?

Brian o vretanos said...

Dan:

No, Kennedy Fried Chicken. Apparently it's a chain in New York.
