Sercret Santa

Bee asked us to come up with a gift for a selected blogger, which we would buy them if we had the time, money, or whatever.

So, if I win millions in the lottery before Christmas, I will be buying Petra the following wonderful gift.

You will get a fully fitted IKEA kitchen to your specifications. No expense spared, and with all the latest clever Swedish technology. It will also come, appropriately enough, with The Swedish Chef, the ultimate in labour saving devices. As long as you're not too fussy about what you eat.

Before you get your hopes up, though Petra, it's only fair of me to point out that I don't actually play the lottery. But it's the thought that counts, right?

And Many thanks to my Secret Santa, Chat Blanc at Wit's Bitch for her wonderfully thoughtful virtual gift!

I love it!! Thank you, it is exactly what I need. Especially the Swedish Chef, because I hate to cook and I can always use a good laugh!

Petra is soooo lucky! She gets a brand new kitchen and gets her very own Chef. And I heard that Kermit frog legs were to die for! Bon Appetit Petra.

Don't worry Petra...the winning lottery ticket could blow out of some person's hand and get carried by the wind until it lands on a brief case and carried into where Brian works. Then, it gets blown off the brief case and lands on the toilet. Then, when Brian is taking a dump it gets blown over and wedges in his butt crack. He discovers it that evening and you get your kitchen. Well it could happen!

Chris:

It comes with the chef, if that's what you mean...

ettarose:

He's the only TV chef worth watching.

Deb:

:-)

Anndi:

Life's tough in Scandinavia. They have to eat whatever they can get, especially in the winter.

Petra:

Cheers!

Georgie:

I hope you got something wonderful...

Jean Knee:

You were the one that ate Babe...

Angie:

I'm not sure what kind of accompanyment you'd have with such a meal, though...

VE:

The chances of winning are 14 million to 1 even if you do buy a ticket.

I've eaten frog legs many times. I lived in the country and my bro and dad would go frog gigging (spearing frogs) and my mom would fry them. They jumped in the pan (the legs), it was cool.

I tried some in a restaurant a couple years ago and did not like them

it makes me wonder: did I eat those frog legs or feed them to the dog? I do not know

Jean Knee:

They'd have jumped even more if they'd still been attached to a live frog...

I always loved the Swedish Chef!!
But uhm, Brian Dear, is he trying to cook Kermit The Frog?
Oh, that would be a big no no in my kitchen.
Maybe you should start playing to lottery just for the days left up until Christmas?

Tracy:

Yes, it looks like the Swedish Chef is trying his hand at French cuisine...

I can't bring myself to bet on odds of 14 million to 1.
