Εφυγε ο Κόμης Δράκουλας
So how was Dracula finally defeated?
Sunstroke?
Anaemia?
Drank himself to death?
Broken Heart?
Drowning?
None of the above. He died of a brain tumour.
I refer of course to Ottomar Rodolphe Vlad Dracula Prince Kretzulesco, the adopted heir of Vlad the Impaler, who has died age 67. He seems to have had a lot of fun with the Dracula Legend, as well as doing charitable works.
Good for him.
RIP, Vlad.

Ha!
I see they stole my catch phrase "the Horror" and yes, Joseph Conrad probably got it from me...once again the whole which came first chicken or egg thing...
he was adopted so maybe he wasn't as evil as vlad or bee
He looks juts like the first Vlad.
I like the mythical vampires better cuz in my head they're better looking.
Can you imagine if they find I'm a decendent? Not sure if that's spelled right.
bee- have you read those Charlie Huston vampire books? I liked 'em
there are no good looking seductive vampires, or real romance but they are good
where's my twilight book?? think I forgot? I didn't
wonder where Brian is
Jean Knee:
I was at work - they expect me to turn up now and then ;-)
Bee:
Presumably they could tell with DNA if you're a blood relative. (Jean Knee: You can hold the stake, I'll hammer...)
Brian, what makes you think I'd let you get that close to my BOSOMS??? ;o)
For a moment I thought you'd won with that comback ;-)
Presumably staking works just as well through the back...
You've got a point, though (so has the stake ;->), in the films it's usually the next of kin that does the hammering, if they're still around at that point. (e.g. "Dracula, Prince of Darkness", where it's her husband).
No, that's wrong. He's her brother, because it's her husband that's the first to die, she's turned into a vampire, and her sister-in-law narrowly escapes.
But I don't think that she's well enough endowed that they get in front of her heart when she's pinned down on her back by the monks...
If it's thru the back, let's hope you don't get the wrong side.
SIL escapes? Crap! Here I thought I was the hero chick!
So many jokes, so little time...
The vampire woman is the sexy one - at least once she gets bitten and starts going after her brother-in-law. The SIL is prettier, though.
She also gets to do a really impressive death scene - a climax as she's penetrated by the stake.
Time for the news...
Holy Molars!
What movie are you talking about? I think I've seen only 2 vampire movies since I'm such a wuss and would rather read the gore.
she gets penetrated at the climax? that's just nasty where are your manners? your mama might read this
jean knee, you know how innocent I am right? So maybe he's watching vampire porn and trying to pass it off as a regular film...??
Okay, I'm back (for a while).
The film is only a "15".
Have a look in:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0059127/
Barbara Shelley was also in Hammer's Rasputin film.
All stories of any kind are sex and violence, and with vampires the emphasis is on the sex.
hmmmmm
